Excellent Performance
VariSorb® CE is the ultimate solution for terminal Airborne Molecular Contaminants (AMC) filtration for cleanroom. It is generally used together with Fan Filter Unit (FFU), Equipment Fan Filter Unit (EFU), and other equipment to reduce the concentration of AMC by creating a desired environment meeting the process requirements. It is also used to protect the process and products against the influence of molecular contaminants. VariSorb® CE has excellent removal efficiency even under low concentration conditions to offer a micro-environment of ppb level.
Construction
VariSorb® CE chemical filter, with metal cell side providing a sturdy construction and is suitable for convenient and flexible installation either above or below FFU/EFU. The filter construction is out-gassing free to ensure cleanroom environment requirements are met.
Media
VariSorb® CE chemical filter features a multi-layer pleated media comprise of very high activity carbon, impregnated carbon or ion exchange resin (IER) sandwiched between non-woven synthetic layers. The filter material is finer and smaller for better AMC contact process offering faster removal process. Media layer can be composed of 1-3 layers of the same/different media for better efficiency. The multi-layer media design allows various chemical media used for removal of multiple gases in a single filter.
